1. People First, Always
I start by listening, deeply and without assumption. A people first approach means that solutions must reflect the voices, wisdom, and needs of the people most impacted. That's where the power lies.
2. Equity is Non-Negotiable
I work with an anti-oppressive, anti-racist lens in everything I do. This commitment to equity in co-design isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation for just, lasting change.
3. Systems Change Starts from the Ground Up
Real change doesn’t come from merely tweaking policies. It comes from shifting mindsets, structures, and relationships. I’m here for the long haul, ready to support systems change that truly matters.
4. Co-Design is Collaboration, Not Consultation
We build together, which embodies the collaborative design principles we uphold. This means sharing power, creating space, and designing processes that work for everyone, not just those in the room.
5. Accountability Means Being Willing to Change
We own our mistakes, celebrate growth, and always invite feedback. Emphasizing accountability in design, this work demands reflection and resilience.
